Anger - a state of dis–ease

You are not punished for your anger.
You are punished by your anger.
                             Gautam Buddha

Everytime you resist acting on your anger, you actually rewiring your brain to be calmer and more loving.
Anger is nothing but  a state of mind when we are not at ease, showing unpleasantness in any situation. Situations and people are not always according to our expectations. We show our disapproval by getting angry. Infact, it has now shifted to automated mode. We don't choose to be angry, but it just happens. Someone just triggers and we become irritated. In course of time we have developed a belief system that  when something doesn't match with our definition of right, we are justified to get angry. Gradually this developes into our habit pattern and becomes our sanskars. Everytime  we get angry, we reenforce  that Sanskar.

This does not mean that you can allow people exploit or emotionally control you. They should not know your trigger points which they can press according to their will. The remote control of your emotions should be with you. Otherwise you are bound to pass through upheavals and outbursts of emotional responses. You can take a tough stand and speak your words firmly with conviction without losing your temper. How can your words have impact on others when you do not have control over your own self?.

We can achieve impossible through silence. A silent mind has immense powers. It can get things done faster than words spoken with a chaotic mind. Moderate rain is good for crops, whereas floods destroy crops. The same principle applies to anger as well. We can learn about this from the great scientist, Thomas Alva Edison. He did not get angry with his assistant when he broke the bulb , which he invented after years of hard work. He remained stable.

One of the main reasons of getting angry is we depend on external factors for happiness, which keep changing. Happiness is our choice and does not happen by chance. We need to stop reacting and start responding. Reaction happens automatically, whereas response is always mindful.

The source of anger is not outside. If there is no anger within you, it cannot come out. If you hit a Buddha, only compassion will come out, because only compassion is there. Anger will not come out because anger is not there. If you throw a bucket in a dry well, only bucket will come out. But in  a water filled well, you will get water in the bucket. So, one who is insulting you is just throwing bucket in you, and then the bucket will fill out  with the anger, hate or fire that was within you. You are the source.

It is scientifically proven that when we are angry, additional neuro transmitters and hormones _adrenaline and non adrenaline are released causing various diseases. Our relationships are also affected by anger.

You can channelise your anger in constructive way. Do find healthy outlets like vigorous exercise or writing to express it safely. You can practice this breathing technique to work on your emotions. Sit straight with your spine, neck and head in a straight line. Place your palms up on your thighs. Inhale to the count of three and exhale to the count of six. Exhalation should be double of inhalation. You can do this for 10-12 minutes daily.

Even if you forget everything, please remember to keep your remote control with you. Do not dragged down by your emotions. If something happens, don't react immediately. Take a moment, look into your mind, breathe deep, exhale double. Live like a master, not like  a slave. Be a master of your mind and you can do that by becoming master of your breath. Listen to inner peace, it will feed you. Listen to inner love, it will transform you. When you are peaceful, you add peace to the world.

The Relationship Quotient

Never leave a true relationship for few faults. Noone is perfect. Noone is correct. Love always weighs more than perfection.

These lines reveal the essence of relationships. Man is a social animal. We have been living in groups since primitive age. We strive to make our dear ones happy by our acts. This is the core of relationships.

Relationships are based on love, acceptance, respect and understanding. With the relationships, some chapters are sad, some are happy and some are exciting. But if you don't turn the page, you will never know what the next page holds.

Unconditional love and acceptance is the foundation of relationships. Accept the things to which love binds you, love the people whom fate brings you together, but do so with all your heart. Our relationship evolves through acceptance. Instead of expecting ,we should accept. We can spendĺĺ a lifetime seeking for the person who  entirely matches our choice. Never focus on the faults in order to build a healthy relationship. We are all unique with different mindsets. Your definition of right may not match other's perception. Adjustment is the key to happy relations.

Relations are nothing but the exchange of energy between two people. It is entirely dependent on how you think about the person irrespective of how nicely you talk and behave with that person. This is very subtle, but this holds  good in every relationships.

Human  relations are never ever absolute. They are variable and  take a lot of skill and attention to maintain a relationship. Hence, it will grow or end depending upon the energy and attention you give to that relationship.

Sometimes you are provoked by negative comments. At that time , don't react at once. If you take a moment and respond in a calm, healthy and real way, then you are in control. Don't allow anyone overpower you or invoke a reaction from you. Respond instead of reacting. No matter how educated or talented you are, how you treat others tells all. Life is too short to keep  differences. Sort out if you can, else bless them and move on.

> When we have sound relationship with our own self, our relationship with others  becomes happier and love  flows naturally.
>  Release the past hurt and grudges.
> Accept that everyone has their own perception.
>  Noone is responsible for what we feel. It is absolutely our choice.
Indic philosophy better explains this  in one phrase "Vasudeva Kutumbhakam", which means universal brotherhood.

Self Management As The Basis Of Life Management

In this world, we all are busy managing our businesses, institutions, houses etc. We are successful to some extent, as long as everything comes out the way we had expected.

We should stop and ask ourselves, "Are not we neglecting our own self while managing our day- to -day activities?" We should see  the state of our mind while facing the crisis. We should check if we are not on the roller coaster of emotional responses. If we get stressed during the turmoils of life, then this is alarming. We should start focussing on our own self, otherwise the darkness of despair will take over our life to suffer mentally, physically and financially

Our life is made up of choices and  decisions made by us. The time when you wake up, the books that you read and the movies you watch and your attitude play a vital role in shaping your life. To live a healthier and a happier life, you should strive to do those things that are good for you even if it may not be pleasant for you.

In Bhagwad  Gita, Shree Krishna has advised Arjuna to do every karma with full passion, but do not get entangled into the results of that karma. When we perform actions in this way, the results are bound to be great. We can also remain calm as we are fully in the present.

You should try to get up a little bit earlier, so that you can spend some time  on yourself. We should start the day right. Early hours of the day, when you get up is the golden time of the day. Use this time wisely. This time is for meditation, yoga, exercise and reading some good stuff. This is fuelling for your day. It will keep you charged throughout the day.

Some key factors for self management are:

•Believe in the higher power watching you and giving you strength.
•Take self responsibility for your feelings and emotions.
•Stay relaxed in body and mind.
•Schedule some time for physical activity.
•Before reacting to any situation, there is a minute window of decision. Use it.
•Don't  hold on to grudges and forgive.
•Witness your breathing.
•Count your blessings and see the bright side of things.

Last, but not least help others. This will give you great satisfaction and peace. Success in the outside is nothing, unless we are happy and fulfilled  inside.

If we  manage our self well, all the other aspects that is health, wealth and relationships are bound to be managed well. Live your life fully and maintain your poise while going through the journey called life.

OVERCOME PROCRASTINATION TO MOVE AHEAD IN LIFE

Procrastination may be defined as the habitual or intentional delay for starting or finishing a task, despite knowing it might have negative consequences.

The largest obstacle of all time has been  procrastination. Procrastination is the thief of time. We procrastinate because of fear of failure and keeping ourselves safe from facing challenges. We also procrastinate due to our laziness resulting in failure to execute a task on time.we procrastinate because we don't want to get out of our comfort zone. It is the largest obstacle put forward by ourselves to our success and happiness. It is a habit. Postponing is just delaying our success. Procrastination is the art of keeping up with yesterday. A year from now, we may wish we had started .

The secret of getting ahead is getting started. It is said that,"well begun is half done". So don't  wait for the right time. Whenever you start, is the right time for you. Always  have plans. Make a daily routine  of to do list and time when you will complete it. Follow this routine consistently. This  will make you  more  organized and disciplined. You can never change your life until  you  change  what you do  daily ."The secret of our success is found in our  daily  routine ". Time is the non renewable resource. Use it with intention.

> To stop procrastination, we should  change  our environment.
> We should keep away from all sorts of  distractions including gadgets during  work time.
> We can  also break our major task into smaller pieces and make  to do list. And follow this plan one by one, thereby  completing the  whole task.
>We can  start with the task we love to do the most, so  that we are motivated to compete all the tasks. We can also reward ourselves on completion of the task.

One of the most Important way to  stop procrastination is to hang out with inspiring people too often. The  more time we spend with go-getters, the more we get determined to do our work. The people you are surrounded with have  a great impact on your habits. Watching  interviews of legendary people also inspire us.

When we conquer procrastination, we are on our  way to success. Life is precious. If you invest time in something, you truly love to do, you will prepone it instead of postponing. When we complete a task on time, we feel confident. This confidence will help us to complete other difficult tasks as well. So just take first step. One day or day one, it's your decision. Procrastination makes easy things hard and hard things harder. Stop being afraid of what could go wrong. start getting excited about what could go right. Defeat whatever defeats you.

What you do today can improve all your tomorrows. Never do tomorrow what you can do today. You don't have to be great to start. You have to start to be great.

You are your GREATEST INVESTMENT

The future cocoons out of the present. Tomorrow's harvest depends on today's ploughing and sowing... The present moments are to be invested intelligently and well so that we may reep a better time in the future.

All of us are investing our time and energy in every moment of life. It may be physical, mental, religious or spiritual depending on the goals of our life. When we invest time on our body we get good health. Our thoughts and feelings is our mental investment. When we devote time in worship and chanting mantra, we get peace. But the investment which is supreme and all the above rewards can be achieved is when we invest time and energy in uplifting our own spirit. This has a great impact on the life of all those around us. As a reward we get sound mind and body and peace and tranquility within. We don't get trembled by the storms of life. We don't spend our energy in changing others. Instead we start seeing goodness in all the people, we meet in our day to day life. Our mindset changes from negative to positive and it is said, “Master your mindset, master your life”. One who conquers so many lands may be the king. But one who can conquer himself is, “The king of the kings”.

We should be aware of where we are investing our energy because time and energy both are limited and precious. It is said that where energy flows things grow. Those who take time to strengthen themselves are the strongest. So take time to master your mind, to care for the body and nourish your soul. Solitude and quite moments brings inner peace and boundless energy. We will sleep better and enjoy a renewed feeling of balance in life.

Whatever we think and do is our investment. Our personality is the sum total of all the energies we have invested in ourselves. We should unplug our minds from negative thoughts and feelings, because it causes our mental energy and potential to leak. We take too much precaution while making our financial goals. Think about those goals, the returns of which are not only life long but to be received beyond this life.

Investment in kind deeds surely brings kindness in return. Once we have invested in whatever we wanted to do, returns are on the way. We cannot change them according to our choice. In Bhagwad Geeta, Shri Krishna has said, “Man's authority is only with doing actions. Once an action is completed he cannot change the fruits of his action according to his will.” We reap what we sow.

Just find out what you truly want to do and then direct all your energy towards doing. Once you do this abundance flows into your life. Instead of focussing on others, we should feed our energy to our desires and dreams so that they can manifest in our life.
-Live in the present.
-Feel good about yourself.
-Charge your life just like you charge your phone.
This will lead you to a life of happiness and ecstacy.

FORGIVENESS – The Greatest Strength

The first to apologize is the bravest.
The first to forgive is the strongest.
And the first to forget is the happiest.

The above lines  reveals  the  significance of the forgiveness in our life. We have a tendency to make mistakes. Some mistakes are trivial, while others have a significant impact on our lives. Nevertheless, we learn from our mistakes to usher in a better present and future.

All of us are vulnerable to make mistakes. Others' mistakes seem considerably  huge to us. Same situation will be perceived by two persons in a  different way. One can forgive whereas other can't. We should remember that when we forgive, we heal and when we let go, we  grow. Forgiveness is the greatest form of  strength.

In the blink of an eye, everything can change. So, forgive often and love with all  your  heart. We  don't  know, we may have that chance again. When one forgives, the two souls are set free.

From our childhood to adulthood, we make so many mistakes. Sometimes we are hurt  and sometimes we hurt our relationships. Then we move on together with the power of forgiveness. Forgiveness is that chemical bond that binds our physical relationships. When we forgive, we feel light. We set ourselves free and a great load is released from our heart just by forgiving. Remember when you forgive, you need not forget. It signifies that when you think of the incident you don't get depressed.

At the end of the day, we should make this prayer: "I forgive all those who have hurt me and I beg forgiveness from all those whom I have hurt". The two words to relax are, “let go". Holding on to grudges will only weaken the mind and body and impair our health.

If you feel hurt by people, recognise that they are not  hurting you because  of who you are. Their behaviour is a reflection of their personality. We sometimes say that  "I will never forget the incident and I will never forgive him/her". This means we are  choosing to suffer throughout our life. Reliving the painful experience and not forgiving will only increase pain. We also forget all the things they did right. Live life full of happiness by setting yourself free of all grudges.

Love, compassion and forgiveness is the only religion. Forgiveness is letting go of the hope that past can be changed. Holding on to grudges is self imprisonment. We release ourselves from the cocoon of the past by forgiving. We live in the present, because we free ourselves from the past grudges. It is not a gift to someone else. It is your gift to yourself. It is a best way to clean our mind and spirit.

In the words of Oprah Winfrey,  "Thank you for that experience.. Forgiving you is my gift to you and moving on is my gift to myself".

GRATITUDE– The Best Attitude

Life gifts us plenty of things. We never take notice of what we have instead we focus on what we do not have. This is our attitude towards life. We forget to value what we have
.
Mother Nature provides us all the things necessary for sustaining life. We receive food, water, air, sunlight from the Nature. We enjoy all these things for granted. When we are thankful for all these endowments, we feel so blessed and positive. Gratitude is the greatest prayer.

We have countless desires. When one is fulfilled, the other crops up. This continues throughout our life. In this race of acquiring more and more, we forget to be thankful for what we have. Rather, we complain for what we lack. This creates stress. Gratitude relieves us from stress and shifts our mental status from negative to positive. From morning till night  if we observe,we would be able to see that we are abundantly gifted.  Gratitude helps you see what is there, instead of what is not. Gratitude is the best medicine that heals our mind, body and spirit and attracts more things to be grateful for.

Happiness comes when we stop complaining about the troubles we have and instead thank for the troubles we don't have. Gratitude shields us from negativity and rewires our brain. It eliminates stress, improves our healing system, boosts self esteem and performance, enhances law of attraction to attract much better things in our life.

Gratitude makes us humble resulting in better relationships. It is a key to manifest abundance. The most important fact is that it helps us to be in the present. We  become aware of the present situations to be grateful for. Happiness is not about getting what we want, it is about loving what we have and being grateful for it.

We forget that waking up in the morning is the first thing to be grateful for. We are thankful to our parents, teachers, doctors, friends and all those who have been helping us in some or other way. So,start counting your blessings you receive. Cultivating this skill of gratitude can open up new doors of success in our life. Living in a state of gratitude is the “Gateway to a Happy Life".

HEALTHY Is HAPPY

In today's world, health has become a very predominant aspect in everyone's life. We are now significantly sparing our time to upgrade our health. This is because, now we have understood the importance of good health in our lives. We are doing yoga, exercises, swimming, walking etc.The law is "work out, eat well, be patient, your body will reward you".

Almost everyone has experienced that when we are sick, we can not find pleasure even in the most beautiful place or event of our life. We can rejoice in  our life only when we are fit and active.

When body is healthy, mind is also sound. A healthy mind and body can go a long way in contributing towards a person's growth in life. Mind and body are inter connected. One can not be happy if any of them is sick. If we want a break through in our life, we should be healthy both physically and mentally. A healthy person can synchronize his mind and body towards his upliftment in life.So fall in love with taking care of your body.

Exercise and yoga not only change your body. It also changes your mind, attitude and mood. Fitness is not a destination. It is a way of life. When we invest time in fitness, this is going to be the most profitable asset over time.Over time, you will thank yourself for being persistent. It also boosts our confidence, self esteem, focus and endurance."Being active can boost your feel good endorphins and distract you from daily worries".

Health is wealth.

Taming the mind

Our brain is the super powerful tool gifted to us by God. Infact,it is the super computer. But we have to be careful that no virus can spoil our computer. Negative thoughts are viruses that damage our mind.

We can create our future by focussing on the pattern of thoughts which multiply fast and design the fabric of our life. The law is, "As you think, so you become." A happy mind creates the happy world but an ill tempered mind has an angry world. You can not achieve great results with a small mind.

God has given us the same brain. It works according to the thoughts with which we feed our mind. We work according to our thoughts, which build our karmas, both physical and mental. Together they form our destiny. So, it is indispensable to train our mind,so that we can use our mind, rather than being used by the mind.
To develop mastery over mind, relax it from time to time. Gift yourself some moments of conscious breathing. Feel your inhalation and exhalation. By becoming mindful of our breathing,we feel calm and relaxed. Feel each breath coming in and going out. Slowly and gradually train your mind to be in the present. This can be achieved by observing our respiratory process.

Let's not make our happiness conditional. lf things happen this way I will be happy, otherwise I won't. When you walk, feel the minute signs of vitality flowing through millions of cells in your body. Over time the mind will learn to endow every experience with beauty, joy and well being. Then the mind will develop taste buds to be happy without any reason. Life changes need time, effort and patience. In the words of Buddha,  "Overcome the mind, overcome the world".

Mind and Body

The impact of the mind on our body is profound. Infact it is the main controlling unit of our body. Each.cell of our brain is connected with 10000 cells of our body. Any disturbance in the thoughts, feelings and behaviour causes disturbance in the physical health of our body. Thus, in spite of doing fitness programs and diet plans, people are suffering from severe ailments. This is because we are not taking care of our mental health.

When we keep our mind calm, we flow through confidence, ease and grace. It can be said that good mood leads to good health. While performing our day to day activities we should introspect. The feelings of worry, anxiety, fear,  jealousy,  anger,  criticism,  hurt and guilt lowers the frequency of our mind, resulting in degradation of our health. So we should check and replace them with powerful positive affirmations.  This will upgrade our health to the next level

Lifeclock is like a pendulum.  In any situations we should try to keep our mind calm and stable. Thus the person with a stable mind is not only healthy but also overcomes problems with ease.  One has to train his mind so that whatever he thinks, feels and behaves is his choice and not controlled by situations. When we are happy our mind produces  a chemical that relays the news of our happiness to all 52 million of our body cells who rejoice and  join in. The mind and body connection has been established in medical and scientific research.

Finally in the words of Buddha “To enjoy good health,  to bring true happiness to one's family and to bring peace to all, you must first discipline and control your own mind.”

Adjustment and Acceptance= Happiness

In our life we come across so many situations, which we had not expected. We all make blueprint of our life. In any circumstances we should accept the situation and adjust to it, so that we can create miracles. We cannot succeed unless we accept the situation. Even a doctor cannot cure his patient unless he accepts that he has a disease.

If somebody has chosen a career which he didn't want to pursue he will feel like a victim and this mindset of his will never let him succeed in his career. But if he accepts his career wholeheartedly and adjusts to it, he will definitely succeed and live a happy life. There are so many people around us who had faced such situation. But they didn't give up. We all know about  Amitabh Bachchan, the great Indian actor. He wanted to work at the radio network. But he was rejected because of his voice. He did not waste his energy in resentment and grief. Instead he pursued acting in Hindi films. He accepted his career and concentrated his energy in acting. Everyone knows about his glorifying achievement and it's a fact that it was his voice which made him so special and outstanding. By accepting the situation we can turn weaknesss into power.

We should always remember that whatever happens in our life is always good for us. Never complain and feel like a victim. Sometimes the career which we have purused is better than the career which we wanted to pursue. But the fact is that we should give equal amount of energy to this option also. This is the only way to succeed.

Being happy in whatever we do help us to achieve our goals. Nevertheless, the ultimate goal of our life is to live a happy and a peaceful life. If we accept and adjust we will surely have a blissful life.

Power of concentration

There is no limit to the powers of mind.It is we who determine how to use these powers. One of these powers is the power of concentration, which is available to all of us.Focus of mind is necessary for anything and everything in life. The quality of your life depends on how much you concentrate and what you concentrate upon.

One of the psychologist has said that the quality of your life depends on the quality of your experiences  and the quality of your experiences depend on the quality of your concentration.Every work adds to your experiences and focus on every work determines it's quality. Swami Vivekananda has said that" the difference between an ordinary person and a great person lies in the degree of concentration".

The Bhagwat Gita gives a valuable insight into the mind power and it's role in success. The Gita verse 2:50 says," yogah karmasu kaushalam" – proficiency of action is equal to worship of God." This proficiency in action comes when the work is done with full concentration. Even work like cleaning a room needs concentration. When we do this properly, it amounts to worship. When we have this habit of focussing on whatever we do, we form the habit of being in the present. When we are in the present, we are always happy. Life is in the present and not in the past or future.

Concentration means doing whatever we do with the fullest possible attention. Work done in this way is bound to be excellent. But we are in the age of digital distraction. Technology is very useful but at the same time it is very harmful if not handled properly. When a student plays video games and then starts studying his mind won't let him study and he will feel bored. Because his mind's cognitive capacity is not fully utilized and some part of it is occupied in video games or social media. When he studies with full concentration he will be able to memorize his lessons easily and recall them whenever needed. This also saves time. Work done in this way certainly brings happiness and success to the person. He can also keep his mind calm and stable.

People with this power of concentration can excel in whatever they do. In this way they can lead a happier life.

Life Force

There is a force behind our every action, be it external or internal. Our pattern of thoughts develops into our life force. Whatever we think and behave, becomes our life force be it positive or negative. Our happiness is directly proportional to our life force.

A positive life force is created by positive attitude. This needs a little bit of awareness. We do not need to control our thoughts. We just need to witness. By witnessing our thoughts, we will come to know whether they are positive, negative or waste. Thus our life force is determined by the quality of our thoughts. Negative thoughts develops into a negative life force. That is why some people find problems even in the most favorable situation and thus lose the opportunities of both enjoyment and success in their lives. People with positive attitude have a positive outlook towards every aspect of life including difficult situations .  They transform problems into opportunities and create miracles.

Infact ,the majority of the world's most successful people have succeeded in their lives because of their positive attitude. Thus,we feel inspired by people like Thomas Alva Edison, Dr Abdul Kalam, Albert Einstein and Abraham Lincoln. These great personalities have made tremendous achievement in their fields by being positive every moment and their success was not different from their happiness.

Thus, our life force develops into our personality which again develops into our destiny. Swami Vivekananda used to say that “We are the creators of our own destiny”.

Negative life force causes many diseases so we should check our mind to prevent diseases. This is how we can lead a happier and a healthier life.

Power of CONSCIENCE🙇

Conscience is the voice of God in the soul.It is said that there is no pillow as soft as a clear conscience.  In order to live a happier life we must follow our conscience, sitting inside us. It can be compared with a teacher, friend or a guide. In any circumstances, whenever we need, it is always there to guide us. But the fact is that, we should seek guidance from the friend already within us.

Whenever there is a problem, we seek advice from others rather digging deep inside. People will give advice according to their perception based on their experiences. But whenever we get answer from within, it is accurate. Swami Vivekananda rightly said, “Each soul is potentially divine and the goal of Human Life is to manifest that divinity already within us”.

The solutions to our problems are already within us.
When a person commits crime, he hesitates for the first time. This continues for 4-5 times. His conscience warns him that he is doing wrong. But after that, he will no longer feel like doing anything wrong as it has become his habit now. This happens with addictions as well. He seeks happiness in addictions which is temporary. And as we all know the end results are never good. Hence we must listen to our conscience to live a life full of happiness.

If we listen to our conscience, we will not only solve our problems but also lead a happier and a successful life. Before taking any decision, sit for atleast 10 minutes in silence and we'll get to know what to do. The great people like Swami Vivekananda, Mahatma Gandhi and many others have succeeded in achieving huge goals in their lives by following their conscience.
If you have any doubts or queries feel free to ask in comments.

Power of THOUGHTS

Thoughts are the building blocks of our destiny. Thoughs influence our attitude and behaviour. Our behaviour has actually become habitual. We are unconsciously thinking in the same pattern developed over a period of time. This goes on thoughout our life. Consequently we get the same quality of results and sometimes face the same type of problems.

If we want change in our life, we'll have to break through this pattern. We have to consciously watch our thoughts and gradually replace them with positive ones. It will be gradual and patience will bring about transformation in our lives.

Our thoughts can make us or break us. However a difficult a task may be, we must think “I can do it and nothing can stop me”. Thoughts have power and powerful thoughts can take us to great heights of success. Even if we fail, if our mind is programmed with positive thoughts, than sooner or later, we will definitely become successful.

Mind is the sum total of thoughts, feelings, attitude and behaviour. A mind that is programmed with positive thoughts also brings about peace and stability even in times of crisis. So think before you think.

Don't Reciprocate

In our life everything is conditional. Infact ,we trade even with our emotions. We want love in exchange of love. If someone gets angry at us ,we reciprocate the same feeling towards them. If someone insults us we wait for our turn to do the same. If we are engaged in exchanging these emotions, then it’s a dream to be happy which is not going to happen. Our thought pattern and behavior should be independent of others behavior. When we are free, then only we are happy. Freedom is the ultimate way to be happy.

Essence of Happy Life🌸

Happiness is the attitude and a way of life. Everyday we deal with a number of problems. But problems come and go, just like the waves in the ocean. But happiness can still exist. It's our true nature.

We have made our happiness conditional. We think that when we achieve certain goals in life, then we'll be happy and when we reach at that point, then also something more it yet to be achieved. This goes on throughout our life. Our desires never come to an endpoint. This is life. We can have a pleasant attitude while working towards our goals of life. This will also add to our efficiency. And thus we will achieve our goals faster without any stress.

We should cultivate virtues like forgiveness, contentment, acceptance and cheerfulness. We should not let the feelings of jealousy, hatred, hurt and guilt kick our minds. Happiness is the byproduct of an alert mind. We should be aware of our thoughts and feelings.

Living a life full of consciousness results in bliss and happiness . And a happy person can only make others happy. Being happy is the greatest service to the world.

POWER OF DECISION -2

There is a great story related to decision-making power. In Mahabharata,Shree Krishna advised Duryodhana not to do this Injustice to Pandavas. But Duryodhana told that he knew what was right and what was wrong, but he could not help it.He decided not to change himself and he was defeated.Whereas Arjuna requested Krishna to show him the path of righteousness and decided to do whatever Krishna said.Arjuna's this decision led to the formation of great epic called Gita, which is still guiding millions of people all over the world. This war has been going on in our minds. It is up to us which thoughts to be encouraged and which to delete.Like Arjuna ,Victory is always with people with right decision.

POWER OF DECISION

When an incident happens, it leaves a deep impact on our mind, making it too much thoughtful. The same incident is revised again and again in our mind, leaving us frustrated. But no matter, how much we ponder over the matter,it is impossible to change the past. The only thing we can do is to decide, how long we would think about it and how much should I get disturbed, because different people react differently in same situations. Pondering over the past conflicts simply depletes our energy, affecting both our present and future. So this is a great power available to us and that is the power of Decision. We should use this power, available to us at every moment.Otherwise our mind would go in automated mode.
